Generic Contributions*
*Note - back around 1997, when genealogy was making a real presence on
the internet, quite a few of us were busy typing away, hoping to keep
an interest in contributing free genealogy to the world wide web
community. As I scan the US Genweb Archives, I can see that, to a
certaint extent, the flurry of activity in the late 1990's died
off. I hope it picks up again, since there's some really useful
information here. It helps researchers come into contact with
other researchers, and helps those from out-of-state find information
on their ancestors.
